Fort Clatsop to-the-Sea Trail >> Updates from the Trail

Commentary in the Oregonian, 3 February 2005: "The trail also represents a successful federal-local, public-private project that overcame major obstacles to make the most of an opportunity for Oregon. That kind of achievement almost deserves its own monument. "

Wildfire Risk Reduction >> Deal brings together Environmentalists and Loggers

Governor Kulogoski designated the CROP Project as an Oregon Solutions project to create a team composed of individuals, agencies and organizations with a "stake" in ecosystem restoration, community wildfire risk reduction and employment/job creation in Central Oregon. The CROP initiative is focused upon overcoming one of the many barriers to achieving the desired outcome conditions listed above - supply instability.

The Oregon Paleo Project

A number of organizations, local officials, and state and federal agencies have been working together as an Oregon Solutions Team to explore opportunities with the significant fossil beds near Fossil.
