Overview: Delta Ponds

This project focuses on watershed and habitat restoration of the Willamette River floodplain in Delta Ponds, and developing the pond area as a regional center for passive recreation and environmental education.

The Army Corps of Engineers and the City of Eugene will contribute over $3 million on construction to re-establish the natural channels between the Ponds and the Willamette River, while Oregon Solutions catalyzed a team of local businesses, schools, adjacent homeowners, and community groups to reach agreement on how to both maintain and enhance Delta Ponds as an educational and recreational amenity.
